We have been busy over the past few weeks...lots has been happening. We had our first two hockey sessions, where we practiced a range of skills.
We have also been learning about technological devices and how to programme them. We had Tamati visiting our school teaching us how to create simple algorithms and how to make our 'Bee Bots' move.
In Maths we have been working together to solve word problems. We had to show and explain how we were solving the problem. Here we are working as a team...
On Wednesday Leslie from Eco Educate paid us a visit and taught us about recycling, what can and can't be recycled and how to recycle properly. She also helped us to rebuild our worm farm. Room 3 is now responsible for feeding and looking after our worms.

Sunflowers!!!
We are learning about life cycles this term. We have learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly, now we are learning about the life cycle of a sunflower. Today we planted some sunflower seeds. We're going to watch them over the next few weeks, and hopefully we'll get some beautiful sunflowers :)
