Eco Educate Trip

Last week we went to the Ashburton Recycling Centre. We learnt all about reducing, reusing and recycling. Lesley told us what materials we can reuse and recycle and what needs to go to the landfill. We learnt all about what happens to the recycling and the rubbish that ends up at the centre.

This week we had Room 6 visiting. Together we learnt about Autumn. Room 3 and Room 6 buddied up and went outside to look for interesting leaves. Together we painted the leaves practicing our painting skills. We did a great job of mixing colours together. On Friday we will turn our painted leaves into animals and other creatures.
